exceptional, exceptional, exceptional
The hospitality here was truly extraordinary. Each morning, I woke up in my Deluxe Queen Room to an amazing spread featuring homemade jams and fresh pastries. The staff, particularly Kemal and Jenna, went above and beyond, even offering complimentary Turkish tea and coffee during my stay.
totally recommend 🥰❤️

The experience was fantastic, especially during my week-long stay which revolved around exploring nearby attractions like the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace, just a short walk away. The staff really stood out. they were not just accommodating but went the extra mile, like when one of the team members offered his tram card to help us navigate the city. The cleanliness of the place and the comforting ambiance made it a perfect retreat after busy days of sightseeing, with the breakfast being a highlight, particularly the egg with sujuk.

The electronic key system adds a nice techy twist, and having a Smeg fridge alongside a Buggati kettle in the room definitely elevates the experience. The interior design blends contemporary chic with comfort, making it a cozy spot to return to after sightseeing.
Rooms are quite tight, particularly if you’ve got large luggage. maneuvering around the bed is a bit tricky. there were flushing issues with toilets in a couple of rooms, which could require a bit of fiddling to sort.

barbera hotel is definently a hidden gem! the staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away, especially kursad who helped me with everything. my deluxe king room was so comfy and clean, felt like i was sleepin on a cloud! breakfast was amazin every day with so many yummy options. the location is perfect too, close to all the cool tourist spots!
the shower pressure was kinda weak, and the view from my room wasn't the best since it overlooked a little street.

The breakfast spread was delightful, especially the homemade desserts that made each morning feel special.
The water provided in the room had a strange taste, which was quite disappointing.

The location offered easy access to attractions while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond, assisting in arranging tickets for local events, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast included delightful traditional options, but the variety wasn't as extensive as in other places. The room was tastefully decorated yet felt a bit cramped, especially with larger luggage.

Incredibly convenient location made it easy to explore the area by foot. Atmosphere was enhanced by a friendly and attentive staff, especially one team member who consistently checked in and made delicious tea. Enjoyed the generous breakfast with plenty of freshly baked muffins available. the room, while stylish, was a bit tight on space, and the view from the balcony overlooked a garage with no activity. the shower pressure was somewhat lacking, which detracted from the otherwise pleasant experience.

It was just a decent option for a holiday in Istanbul with extraordinarily good value for money. The breakfast spread had some unique homemade desserts that added a nice touch each morning. Better to check for cheaper airport transport options on arrival.
